Pistachio canestrato

The Canestrato Pistacchio is a fresh cheese from the Sicilian dairy tradition, flavored with tasty fresh Sicilian whole pistachios, also known as the "first salt", from the 500 g forms. The dough is compact and white, tending to straw-colored with the prolongation of time. The crust is delicate, refined with extra-virgin olive oil and grains of tasty pistachio. From the combination of fresh cheese and 100% genuine Sicilian pistachio, a unique and delicious flavor is born.

Produced with raw milk coming from owned farms based in Cammarata (Ag) in the Sicani Mountains, of brown Italian cows and modeled by hand.

Shipments will be made from the premises of Tratti di Sicilia at the beginning of each week to avoid stocks in the courier's warehouses, the production lot and vacuum perfection will be checked to ensure maximum freshness.

COMBINATIONS: Canestrato Pistacchio is excellent as an appetizer, perfect to combine with both strong flavors like cured meats and delicate ones such as fruit and to compose appetizing cutting boards or buffets.
